Consolidating Student Loans

Come July 1st, rates on student loans are increasing. Though we won't know the new rate until the end of May, many college loan experts estimate that the new rates could be 1.5 to 2 percentage points higher than current student loan rates.

The good news is that students who move quickly can consolidate their loans under the old, lower rates and possibly save thousands of dollars over the life of the loan. But, there's no time to waste. It must be done by June 30!
