IT Professionals with an MBA Earn 46 Percent More

Monday March 24, 2008
The Examiner.com is reporting the results of a University of Maryland study that analyzed data from 50,000 IT professionals. According to researchers, IT professionals with an MBA earn 46 percent more than peers who have a bachelor's degree and 37 percent more than those with a master's degree.

Note: Although education trumps experience in this industry, aspiring MBAs should carefully reach their own industry to determine whether or not an MBA will pay off.
