Is Higher Education Still Worth the Price?

Thursday August 21, 2008
I'm sure most of you have noticed that college costs are climbing twice as fast as inflation. There are also rumors of lower salaries for new grads. If this concerns you (and it should), you'll definitely want to check out today's article on CNNMoney.com. The article asks the question, Is College Still Worth the Price, and gives you great food for thought on the topic.

If you don't have time to read the article, here's the big takeaway:

You don't have to go to school with a high price tag to get a quality education. There are plenty of schools that have $0 tuition and a reputation that can't be beat. Your goal should be to make sure your student loan payments to not exceed 10 percent of your expected starting salary.
