Answer to Yesterday's About.com GMAT Challenge

Tuesday September 9, 2008
Here is the answer to yesterday's GMAT question (from Integrated Learning.)

Answer: C

Explanation:
If the probability that the animal is a cow is 11/16, then there is a total of 16 horses and cows, 11 of which are cows. Therefore, there are 5 horses (16-11), so the ratio of horses to cows would be 5/11.
