- Visit the U.S. Department of Education Database of Accredited Postsecondary Institutions and Programs by pasting this link in your browser:
http://ope.ed.gov/accreditation/Search.aspx - Enter the name of the institution you are researching. Leave the "Address" and "City" fields blank.
- Hit the "Search" button at the bottom of the page.
- The institution's accreditation information will appear on the results page. Information may include institutional accreditation (for the whole school) or specialized accreditation (for programs or departments within the school.)
