Question: How Do I Choose a Letter Writer?
Answer: When getting a letter of recommendation, it is very important to choose the right person to write the letter. Do not pick someone based on their name and title alone. It will hurt you in the long run. You will be much better off choosing someone who knows you well. The best recommenders write well, speak highly of you, and are able to give specifics that back up their claims.
