1. Abbreviate - to shorten, reduce
2. Aloof - reserved, distant
3. Bard - a poet, often a singer as well
4. Cadence – rhythm
5. Callous - harsh, cold, unfeeling
6. Daunting – intimidating
7. Elucidate - to clarify
8. Fabulist - a teller of fables; a liar
9. Gay - happy, cheery, or homosexual
10. Harmony - agreement, often of sound
