2. Tenuous - having little substance or strength
3. Salient - significant, conspicuous
4. Raze - to demolish
5. Patent - clear, apparent
6. Officious - offering unwanted help or service
7. Neologism - the creation of new words, or a new word
8. Malign - to slander, to smear, to libel, to defame, to speak evil of
9. Laudatory - admiring, praising
10. Impervious - unable to be penetrated, unaffected
