Competency-Based Approach:
Western Governors University has an interesting approach to academics. Instead of granting degrees to students who have completed credits, this online institution grants degrees based on demonstrated competency. What this means is that students have the option of taking a competency test before they begin a program to determine what courses they actually need to take. If a student passes a subject exam, no further study is required in that subject.
MBA Programs:
  • Traditional MBA
  • MBA with Information Technology Emphasis
  • MBA with Healthcare Management Emphasis

  • Human Resources Management
Admissions:
Students must have at least three years working experience to gain admission to the WGU MBA programs. All students must complete an admissions exam.
